I was born into a family of goldsmiths in Karnataka. I grew up surrounded by the art of making jewelry, watching raw metal turn into intricate heirlooms. I learned early on what "quality" truly means.
But I also saw how traditional gold jewellery, despite its beauty, remained reserved for rare moments. Stunning, yes—but too valuable, too delicate, and often too precious to enjoy every day.
And that always left me with one question:

The name is deeply personal to me. It is inspired by my grandmother, Tara, which means "Star."
Tara (Star) + Mi (Me). Tarami = "The Star in Me."
